History of diwali:-

It is one of the major festivals celebrated in India.

1. Lakshmi descent: - Kartik month

On the new moon day of Maa Lakshmi, the earth was revealed by the churning of the sea.  This is the most important reason to celebrate the festival of Deepawali.  This festival is celebrated as the reception of Goddess Lakshmi and every house is decorated so that the arrival of the mother.

2. Saving Lord Lakshmi by Lord Vishnu: - This incident is mentioned in our scriptures.  It is said that on this day Lord Vishnu took the Vamana avatar and freed Goddess Lakshmi from King Bali.

3. Lord Rama's Victory: - According to Ramayana, on this day when Lord Rama With sitaji and brother laxman He returned to Ayodhya after completing his exile of the year.  At his reception, the entire Ayodhya was lighted by lighting a lamp.

4. Narakasura Slaughter: - Lord Krishna killed Narakasura
16000 Women were freed on this day.  In this joy, the festival of Deepawali was celebrated for two days and it was known as Vijay Parv.

5. Return of Pandavas: - According to Mahabharata, when Pandavas lost in Chausar's game between Kauravas and Pandavas
